Martin Schulze is the CEO of BusinessCode and Bluebox Systems, a startup specialized in vision of supply and cooperation chain. With over 25 years of experience in logistics and information technology, he played a major role in creating innovative solutions that harness data and digitization.
Schulze joined Businesscode in 1999 as a program developer, where he advanced to the CEO in 2018. Under his leadership, Bluebox Systems has developed advanced tools such as “Blueboxcargo”, allowing actual time tracking to charge air and oceans. Martin strategically focuses on the complications of the shipping market and innovation opportunities.
What is the function of your dreams as a child?
Zookeeper.
What is the biggest change I saw in the industry?
When I started in early 2000 at the interface of information technology and logistics, both sinks are nearly “men only”. Fortunately, this has changed (but still a way to go).
What is the tanna word that you hate secretly?
Everything about encrypted currencies and the distinctive symbol (but I am afraid that it will be a secret)
Window or the corridor seat?
Window seat – Watching the ground from the top is one of the most amazing things that I can’t get enough.
What is the best work lesson you learned in the difficult way?
For me, the most inaugurated learning was to understand that we, as a less rational human being in our behavior than we think. Knowing this helps a lot to understand yourself and other people.
If you can switch jobs with anyone for one day, then who will be?
I would like to be in a person’s shoes in a leading role with a completely different background from my country to learn from his point of view.

Singapore – really vibrant and multi -cultural place.

I love airports that reduce my time at the airport, and from this perspective Berlin Titge was perfect.

Either hold a dove or a race horse.
How did you enter the terms of the tendons/logistics services?
The company that started my career with (and I am honored to work as an executive president now) I worked in Deutsche Post and helped them in digitization. Logistics has been my focus field since then. The beauty of logistical services (as well) is that it is involved in any other work as a horizontal layer. Both industries provide what keeps our world and our personal lives moving.

What is the best advice you received ever?
Try. Try again. Try again. Try differently. Try tomorrow. Try and ask for help. Try to find someone to do so. Try fixing what does not work. Try to expand what is doing. Just keep trying to succeed.
What are the most adventurous things you have ever?
Marriage – an endless adventure, always exciting and inspiring.
If you can have dinner with any three people, they live or dead, who will be and why?
My husband’s father-the time was very short with him.
