Porsche: Putin realizes that we can “close it with our energy capabilities”
Representative Tim Porschet (R-ENN) said on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware that the United States can “close it with our energy capabilities” amid a batch of the Trump administration to end the war in Ukraine.
“I think Putin also realizes that we can close it with our energy capabilities,” Porsche told NewKE Burman on “The Hill”, adding later that “under this new environmental protection agency, I think – I think you will see more – more production, and we can turn those markets.”
He added: “I think Putin is fully aware that he cannot dispense with oil. Thus, I think there is a lot behind the scenes that happen.”
President Trump said on Monday that he spoke with Putin in the wake of the White House meetings with the main European leaders and began arranging a possible bilateral meeting that includes the Russian leader and Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinsky.
The president said that the meeting between Putin and Zelinski would take place at a time and location that has not yet been discovered. This will be the first time that the two leaders have faced a face -to -face meeting since the beginning of the war in February 2022.
“After that meeting, we will have a triple, which will be the presidents, in addition to myself,” Trump said on the truth platform. “Once again, this was a very good and early step for a war that lasted for nearly four years.”
Last week, Trump met with Putin and Zellinski at the soil of the United States, and Trump and Zelinski had a more annoying oval office meeting in front of TV cameras on Monday than they did in February.
