Menzies Aviation acquires US -based G2 for $ 305 million


Menzies Aviation has announced that it has signed an agreement worth $ 305 million to obtain a US -based G2, and is a partner in airline service for major airlines throughout the United States.

Once the deal is completed, Menzies will operate in more than 340 airports in 65 countries with a global team of 65,000 highly trained. The deal is expected to reinforce the Menzies Group’s revenues by 20 % for more than $ 3.1 billion, based on the 2024 fiscal revenue numbers.

This deal reinforces Menzies as the largest flight services in the world, by countries, airports and aircraft.

Menzies first entered the US market in 2000 and is currently a leader in industry that provides safe and high -quality services, air pressure and fuel. G2 services complement and expand the presentation of the current Menzies service to customers.

This agreement, which involves acquisition of the entire G2 business, will expand on the best Menzies service for airlines with approximately 20,000 employees working across more than 100 airports throughout the United States

In the fragmented aviation services market, airlines and airports will benefit from the presence of a fixed operator with a scale that can benefit from its busy record in creating a new level of service that focuses on operational excellence. G2 will restore the brand as Menzies, and will offer the first training and safety business in the industry, sustainability and innovative technology practices through its new airports.

The transaction to purchase G2 is subject to organizational approvals and is expected to be completed in June 2025.
