The baltic index reaches almost three weeks when the larger ship falls


The Utik Baltic Sea Transportation Index, which measures tariffs for ships carrying dried bulk commodities, extended losses to the lowest level of almost three weeks on Tuesday, is pressed at a lower rate for capsize ships and Panamax.

* BBDI’s main index, which tracks the tariff for shipping shipping ships, Panamax and Supramax, down 49 points, or 2.49%, to 1,921 points, the lowest since July 16. The contract dropped for successive sessions.
* CAPESIZE Index (.BACI) dropped 152 points, or 4.8%, in 3,006, the lowest two weeks.
* The average daily income for Castesize Vessels (.batca), which usually transports 150,000 tons of cargo such as iron ore and coal, glides $ 1,258 to $ 24,929.
* Iron ore futures rise to a height near one week, assisted by strong short -term demand in leading Chinese consumers.
* Panamax Index (.BPNI) lost 8 points, or 0.5%, to 1,625, lowest near four weeks.
* The average daily income for Panamax ships (.BPWT), which usually carries 60,000-70,000 tons of coal or seeds, down $ 71 at $ 14,625.
* Among the smaller ships, the Supramax Index (.Bsis) added 9 points, or 0.7%, at 1,279, the highest level since July 29.
