US Airways shipping movements are the last tiger from the Argentine Park Eco Park
With the help of American Airlines Cargo, LUCY, 16 -year -old Bangal Tiger, was transferred from Eco Park in Mendoza, Argentina to the Wildcat Reserve in Sandstone, Minnesota, USA. This step is the result of the transfer of the former Mendoza Zoo to an environmental park, which gradually included the transfer of animal residents to the reserves where they can start a new life with their peers.
Lucy’s flight began a truck covering about 750 miles from Mendoza to Ezeza Airport in Buenos Aires. The transportation process was carefully coordinated with multi -media, and the group designated by the Ministry of Energy and Environment Mindoza, and US Airlines shipping. The transportation company guaranteed the smooth communication between the teams in EZE and the reception station at John F. Kennedy (JFK) in New York, ensuring a safe trip for LUCY.
Lucy was the last tiger in Mendoza Eco Park, after reaching there in 2011 as part of the exchange of animals with another animal park in Buenos Aires. The WildCat-Non-Perstantial Reserve was accredited and funded by the private sector that provides a natural habitat for the needy wild cats-before black from Mendoza in 2018. At that time, the import regulations for black were more lenient than that of the tigers, who are considered a threatened type. With the zoo closing and its new concentration on animal rights, there was hope that Lucy and her companion Violetta would be placed in a suitable facility more quickly.
However, years later, the Wildcat Reserve learned that Lucy and Violeta are still in the ECO park. The trip included the arrangement of their transfer three years of securing permits, transportation in change in the judicial states, and securing financing. During this time, Violeta died, making employees more determined to reach the Lucy to Minnesota.
Upon arrival at EZE, Lucy was transferred to the American Airlines B787-8 on a 11-hour trip to JFK. The campus employees, including a veterinarian, met there is ready for the final approach of 1200 miles forward to the Wildcat Reserve.
Lucy’s flight is the second animal that helped the US Airlines shipment in the rescue from Mendoza. In 2019, Sandra, 33, was transferred to a haven in Florida after granting human rights necessary to take this trip. With the support of the courts in Argentina, America facilitated its safe passage to the United States, where it found a new house.
“The honor of the Americans had to provide our services to help transfer Sandra in 2019, and we are completely proud that we are able to play our role in re -constructing Lucy to a more suitable environment. Our teams have worked alongside Sanctuary employees to make sure everything like Clockwork is looking to follow the Indoy Paulina global sales story for sales.
