Porter Airlines E195-E2 Pilots start training in Montreal with Full-Flight Services Full Full Embraer Cae
Today, Porter and Embraer Cae Training Services (ECTS) announced the expansion of experimental training operations of the airline with the spread of Full-E2 simulation on the latest E195-E2 (FFS) flight at the Montreal Training Center in Cae. Training started in May 2025 with the support of ECTS, a joint venture between Embraer and Cae. The last 7000xr series, equipped with advanced Cae Prodigy, has been developed and manufactured, manufactured by CAE in Montreal. This strategic publication will enable more Porter pilots to train near the home, support the rapid growth of the airline and contribute to the development of skilled airlines in Canada.
The initial and comprehensive training of E2 in Montreal will be delivered. The Simulator will enhance the Porter’s pilot Training program by increasing the ability to meet the demand for its widespread fleet – 46 aircraft have already been delivered, up to 100 expected aircraft.
“This partnership with ECTS is three leading flight organizations,” said Kent Woodside, Executive Vice President and Head of Operations at Porter Airlines. “CAE experience in training and simulation technology ensures that our pilots get the highest levels of quality and safety standards for our pilots who work on the latest E195-E2 from Embraer.”
The new E2 FFS is equipped with Cae Prodigy Image (IG) that enhances the unlikely Epic Games for more realistic and effective training. Cae Prodigy raises sessions in the simulation device with advanced technology, providing realistic shows and improved animated models that lead to a more immersive experimental training environment.
“We are pleased to welcome Porter, a new partner in the airline, at the CAE training center in Montreal, and we look forward to supporting their training on the E2,” said Michel Azar-Hamuda, head of the CAE Commercial Aviation Department. “Our joint project with Embraer enables us to raise the standards of aviation safety and training by providing global level solutions to support the growth of the E195-E2 fleet around the world.”
In addition to a new simulation in Montreal, the ECTS E2 FFS operates in Singapore and Madrid, Spain. ECTS also provides training for the Phenom of Business Jets using FFS in Cae Training Center in Dallas, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; Borges Hill, UK; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Vienna, Austria, where training begins this summer.
