AI ‘Nudify’ websites gather in millions of dollars

Years, so -called “Nudify” programs and websites are mushrooms online and allow people to create non -existent and abusive images of women and girls, including sexual abuse materials. Despite some lawmakers and technical companies to limit harmful services, millions of people still have access to websites every month, and site makers may have millions of dollars each year.

Analysis of the 85 Nudify and “Undress” website – which allows people to upload photos and use AI to produce “naked” images with just a few clicks – found that most sites rely on Google, Amazon and Cloudflare technical services. The findings, shown by the index, a magazine about digital deceit, says that websites had an average of 18.5 million visitors for each of the last six months and may have collectively earn $ 36 million a year.

Al-Kios Mantzaris, founder and online safety researcher, says the naked nude ecosystem has become a “profitable business” that has allowed the “Lurses-Dira Silicon’s approach to artificial intelligence” to continue. “They should stop providing services and all services to Nudifiers AI, when it was found that their only use was sexual harassment,” says Mantzarislis. Creating or deeply sharing deeply becomes increasingly illegal.

According to this study, Amazon and Cloudflare provide hosting or content service services for 62 websites, while the Google login system is used on 54 websites. Nudify websites also use hosts other services such as payment systems, provided by main companies.

Awan Walsh’s web service spokesman Ryan Walsh says AWS has clear conditions that require customers to follow “applicable” rules. “When we receive reports of possible violations, we will quickly investigate and take action to disable the forbidden content,” Walsh says.

“Some of these sites violate our situation, and our teams are doing these violations as well as working on long -term solutions,” said a spokesman for Google, Carl Ryan, a spokesman for Google.

Cloudflare had not responded to Wired request at the time of writing. Wired in this story does not name nude websites because they are not exposed to more.

Naked websites and robots have flourished since 2019, after spawning first of the tools and processes used to create the first “Deepfakes” explicit. Interconnected corporate networks, as Bellingcat reported, have appeared online that offer technology and money from systems.

Extensively, these services use artificial intelligence to convert photos into illegal explicit images. They often make money by selling “credits” or subscriptions that can be used to produce photos. They have been heavily charged with the wave of artificial intelligence generators that have appeared over the past few years. Their output is very damaging. Social media photos have been stolen and used to create offensive images. Meanwhile, in a new form of cyber attack and abuse, teenage boys around the world have created images of their classmates. Such an abuse is an intimate image for annoying victims and images of the web can be difficult.
