Russian Russian diesel exports fall in April, data shows


Diesel and Gasoil exports in the Russian Sea fell in April when the refinery carried out seasonal maintenance and the industry arrested several supplies for the expected domestic demand growth during the summer months, according to LSEG data and market sources.

In total, Diesel and Gasoil exports from the Russian port fell to around 3.3 million metric tons, down 10% from March, the calculation of Reuters based on LSEG and market source data showed.

Türkiye and Brazil remain the main importers of Diesel and Gasoil Russia in April, shipping data shows.

Diesel and Gasoil exports from Russia’s port to Turkey rose last month to 1.12 million tons, up 6% from March, while loading for Brazil fell one third to 0.66 million tons from 1.0 million tons.

Russian April Diesel and Gasoil exports to African countries fell 20% from the previous month to around 0.75 million tons of total, with Libya, Senegal, Tunisia and Ghana among the largest importers, shipping data showed.

Traders refer to the increase in the transfer of ships-kapal to the harder western sanctions bypass that are charged on the fuel published in the port of Russia, said the cargo increased near the Port of Cyprus Limassol.

Data showed more than 0.42 million tons of diesel in April waiting there for repatriation or orders for further purposes.

In addition, a ship full of around 150,000 tons of diesel in the port of Russia has their goal marked as “for orders”, which means their release point is unknown or not stated.
