Ups Healthcare opens its first dedicated facility in Dublin
Medicines and medical devices are flourishing in Ireland, and this creates an increasing need for integrated and globally connected health care services.

On this background, Ups Healthcare announced today the opening of the first health care logistics facility of its kind in Dublin. The EUR investment of 12 million euros covers approximately 6000 square meters and creates 30 new new jobs, indicating UPS support for the Irish market and export growth.
The facility includes a small package, re -charging, logistical services and distribution capabilities, and connecting customers from all industries to a truly integrated global network that can be adaptable and flexible to their needs. UPS Healthcare is uniquely located to provide one of the largest complex health care transactions of complex health care in the world.
80 % of Pharma products in Europe already require the temperature -controlled transportation, and the latest biology and specialized pharmaceutical preparations require accurate logistical services controlled by the temperature to obtain vibrant products where they should be at the appropriate time and at the appropriate temperature.
