• Oman Air Cargo has appointed Leslie Krebs as European Sales Director to drive growth, develop key accounts and oversee the regional GSA network.

• Her appointment coincides with the relaunch of the winter service between Muscat and Zurich, which operates four times a week on board Boeing 787 aircraft carrying general cargo, perishable items and medicines.

Oman Air Cargo has appointed Leslie Krebs as European Sales Director, marking an important step in its growth strategy.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience to this role, Krebs will develop a key account program in the region and oversee the airline’s General Sales Agent (GSA) network.

“Oman Air Cargo is poised for growth, and I look forward to playing a role in continuing the transformation already underway,” Krebs said.

“The relaunch of our winter service between Muscat and Zurich demonstrates the strong demand in Europe, and I am excited to bring our Oman offering to more locations across the region.”

Krebs will work closely with the Oman Air Cargo sales team in Muscat to enhance the company’s product-based services across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

“Leslie’s appointment coincides with our broader goal of strengthening Oman’s global presence,” said Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo at Oman Air. “Having regional sales managers with market experience helps us better understand our customers and respond more effectively to local needs. Leslie’s experience will be invaluable in deepening those connections.”

Krebs’ appointment comes on the heels of Oman Air Cargo resuming its winter services to Zurich on Wednesday, October 1.

In response to peak market demand, the winter service operates four weekly flights using the airline’s Boeing 787 aircraft, providing the capacity to transport general cargo, perishables and medicines.

Krebs is the first of three regional sales managers to be appointed, and is currently attending the Aviation Connect conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, October 14-16.
