4 in 10 we said in the recession: wiping out
About four of every 10 Americans said that the United States is currently stagnating, while a third of the respondents argued that it is not, according to a publication survey on Tuesday.
Another Economic survey found that 40 percent of adults said the country was in a recession, while 35 percent did not agree. A quarter of the respondents were not sure when they were asked about the topic.
The reconnaissance expert indicated that 40 percent who stated that the nation in the case of recession coincides with 30 percent who said in early February. But the number is still less than 50 percent with the same opinion in late 2022 and the first days of 2023.
The poll agreed that more than half of the Democrats, 56 percent, agree that the country is in a recession, while the poll agreed slightly more than a quarter of the Republicans, 26 percent. Before President Trump was born in January, 51 percent of the Republican Party voters and 27 percent of the supporters of democratic parties argued that the United States is in a recession.
The poll found that inflation is still the most important issue for Americans. A large majority, 81 percent, said it is very important and 47 percent is expected to be higher in six months. About 22 percent argued that it would be less in half a year than now.
About 44 percent of respondents believe that gas prices will rise in six months. On the other hand, 23 percent expect gas prices to decrease in half a year. Both the defendants, approximately 96 percent, said they felt the effect of inflation in their lives.
An opinion poll from Gallup from last week found that 46 percent of adults said President Trump was responsible for the current situation of the American economy, while 27 percent of the respondents blamed his predecessor, former President Biden.
Economic survey found that Trump’s approval is 42 percent, while 52 percent do not agree to his work as a great leader.
The survey was performed from May 2 to 5 between 1850 American adults. The error margin was about 3.5 percentage points.
